Cleanliness is next to godliness.

Ever since I can remember, keeping a motorcycle clean has been an integral part of ownership; my dad's bikes are always spotless and I've learned plenty of tricks and tips from him, chemicals to be used, and most of all the time, effort and sore fingers it takes to make a motorcycle so shiny it can be seen from Valhalla.

But besides from making grown men go "ooh, that's pretty!", there is a practical reason for keeping a bike clean: as you go over every part of it, you're much more likely to find loose hardware or spokes, spotting oil leaks that might be considered out of the norm, perished seals, etc.

Doing this properly is very time consuming and it's hard enough work that many people forego it altogether. Some take their bikes (engines and pipes glowing hot) to the local carwash and spray them with high-pressure water and generic soap all over. Don't do this.

A better approach is steam cleaning with specialized equipment, such as is offered by Vaporclean

They have an assortment of nozzles, brushes and good ol' rags to get into every nook and cranny of your motorcycle (typical nook and cranny shown below), and can remove all types of grime bringing out that factory-fresh look once again.
They recently took care of my Fastback and I can say it had been many years since I had seen it this clean.
If, as the saying goes, cleanliness is next to godliness, Vaporclean are doing the Lord's work.
